Le masséter est le muscle principal de la mâchoire. Masseter a vu le jour en 2002. Le groupe est formé de 4 membres permanents, soit Louis Bédard et Guillaume Pilote aux guitares, Marie-Pierre Leclerc à la batterie et Martin Pagé à la basse. Pour ce premier maxi éponyme, c’est à Paulina Richards (Show of Bedlam) qu’a été confiée la section vocale sur 4 des 5 pièces. Son large registre est mis à profit sur des textes abrasifs en espagnol et en anglais. Le réalisateur Pierre Girard (Malajube, Fred Fortin, Beast, Galaxie, Karkwa, etc.), est venu mettre la touche finale à ce premier EP pour la prise de son, le mixage et le mastering.

The masseter is the main muscle of the jaw. Masseter formed in 2002. The band consists of four permanent members: Louis Bédard and Guillaume Pilote on guitars, Marie-Pierre Leclerc on drums and Martin Pagé on bass. For their first EP, they have entrusted the vocal duties to Paulina Richards (Show Of Bedlam), who sings on 4 of the 5 songs. Her wide vocals range is built on abrasive lyrics in both Spanish and English. The producer Pierre Girard (Malajube, Fred Fortin, Beast, Galaxie, Karkwa, etc.) gave the final touch to this first EP and worked on the sound, the mixing and the mastering.
